About Susquehanna Investment Network
Founded in August 2000 by William Metzger, Sr., as a past president of the Regional Manufacturer's Association, the Susquehanna Investment Network was established to strengthen regional manufacturing and other interested entrepreneurs. SIN is also a founding member of the PA. Angel Network. The Network is comprised of equity investors from across 11 counties. Members are recognized leaders within the community and come from diverse backgrounds with local, regional, and global business experiences. Although the Network's primary function is as an equity investor, members have first-hand knowledge related to a variety of industries including: food processing/baking, air craft engines, clothing, wire rope, marketing, construction, shoes, imports, furniture, machined and spun parts, chromatography, and more. Potential investments are reviewed after a business plan is developed.
Entrepreneurs seeking assistance apart from financial support will be referred to agencies such as Ben Franklin Technology Partners, the Small Business Development Center, and SEDA-COG. Investments are selected on individual basis. All members are certified high-risk/qualified investors (defined by Regulation D under the Securities Act of 1933 or SEC Rule 501).
